Agni

Vedic God of fire, Agni is the Gods' priest, and the priests' God. He is the messenger between heaven and heart, between Gods and man. Agni is benign and malign: as creative fire he is giver of life, as dryness is giver of death. In his physical appearance has two heads, sybolizing his double nature: heavenly light and heartily fire.
The Agnihotra, the sacrifice to Agni, is the most important arian-hindu ritual since five thousand years.
His vahana (vehicle) is Mesha, a ram.
